hiya ricks182..welcome to ft!
right i also train at home ...i have invested in a treadmill for cardio purposes but i also use jump rope as cardio its more intense though...i also have free weights and a exercise ball....although i don't know your background and what you have or are doing..the problem with me was although i was working out i was only pushing myself 60-70% of what i should have been doing to loose weight...
for example when running on the treadmill i would do a 30 min jog which would incorporate walking aswell...this wasn't intense enough for my body..i now run at 8.1km/h for 50 mins this has helped me a lot in my journey to better health and weight loss..
i guess what i'm trying to say is, if you are able, up the tempo a litle with your workout and put in 100% everytime you workout. you will know when your doing this your body speaks to you listen to it.
also diet is key..don't nibble here and there keep it clean stay true to yourself...you know what your supposed to be eating, and whats good or bad...if not your in a great place to learn!
i wish you the best of luck in your journey and remember you have all the support you need ...YOURSELF and FreeTrainers!!
All the best
