You could always move to FL so I can have a training partner. They're always in need of teachers down here. This is my 3rd year teaching and its awesome.-------------- --JBennett "I've up-ed my intensity.... now up yours!" "Pain is only weakness leaving the body." Hey Mutt -
How about writing a training book from Mutt's perspective? You've helped many and your comments and motivation are always helpful and appreciated. Your training comments are always on target and come from personal experience. Maybe discuss how weight training motivates you and lifts your spirits. Lots of people have written (and sold) fitness books - many of whom were not qualified to do so. You would actually bring valuable insights to people. Use your experiences and your "regular guy" attitude to motivate and inspire people to make changes in their lives. I'd buy a copy - but you'd have to sign it for me! (...and if you need a copy editor, give me a holler...) TSMD |

I would buy a copy of Mutt's Training Manual. I'm sure almost everyone on here would love that. -------------- Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. |

LOL I try and get about 4 pages written then give up in fact carivan has the first 4 pages already...not that I have written a word in 3 months on it. The problem is that sure I know a lot, can spin a word or two on motivation. But in the end, people just will not buy a "fitness" book from a guy with 27% bodyfat and the ability to eat oreos like no one else.....-------------- Eat More, Drink More, and Lift Harder than you thought you could, welcome to Becoming! |

It's more about the motivation, and about the progress you have made than about what you look like. And if you do want a bunch of ripped guys on the front, just ask BB1 or JB. I'm sure they would do it for you. :)-------------- Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. |

I would not even begin to know how to organize a book like that, and I am a little afraid of people buying it and not doing things right and geting hurt ya know?-------------- Eat More, Drink More, and Lift Harder than you thought you could, welcome to Becoming! |

That is also very true. You could stress less weight until proper form is achieved. I don't know how I would organize it either. Minor hurdles though!!!-------------- Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. |

about your post when you stated "But in the end, people just will not buy a "fitness" book from a guy with 27% bodyfat and the ability to eat oreos like no one else....."
Might not buy the fitness book, but might buy the book about the guy who could eat oreos like noone else. hehe just kidding. |

You live in the Rochester area. That is the home of the Rhinos in soccer. They just won the playoff game with their rivals here in Montreal. We had a contigent over here at the game rooting for them. Good team but I was sorry they beat out Montreal Impact. I would buy your book for sure. How I went lifting from Oreos to weights. I used to lift Krispy Kremes myself. Think I could squeeze out a couple of more reps with those.....
