Depends whether you're cutting or bulking (just alter the portions). My usual daily morning shake (and my grandson loves it) has yogurt, oatmeal, protein powder, flax seed oil, fresh fruit and maybe a little natural peanut butter if I'm using chocolate flavored protein powder to take care of any stray Reeses cravings :).

Chocolate protein, cottage cheese, and natrual peanut butter make a pretty awesome combo. Tasty and top quality. mikeincharleston's shake is a great recipe too. I like to see the flax oil addition.

It really depends on your goals and the situation. I'm looking to gain mass, so I have a nice little weight gainer shake on non-training days (MRP,natural PB,1% cottage cheese,Udo's Oil Blend,non-fat yogurt all in milk) that clears 1000 calories of clean food. That's a lot like what bb1fit was suggesting. Other things to throw in would be fresh fruits and I've even heard of people putting oats or oatmeal in. On training days, I take my PWO shake and it's 2 scoops whey, 8 tblsps maltodextrin and 10g glutamine all in water.
