Well, anyway, last weekend I marched right up to the guy that I've had my eye on at the gym and asked him if we wanted to go for coffee. It went fantastically well, and we're going out again this weekend! I can't believe I had the guts to ask him out, but I'm sure glad I did it! We've got tons in common, and he loves muscles on women! Maybe things are looking out in the dating department. ---------------------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |

Yep, me too! You go girl! What a better way to meet a guy too! My only freak would be is if they were married but not wearing their ring due to working out...then I'd feel such the nerd! Great hobby to share too! SO, keep us "posted" with all the sweaty details :o) |

Good for you effalunt. Guess I wasn't the guy at the water fountain!BTW I take my ring off when I train and no females come up to me to invite me for coffee! -------------- The trouble with jogging is that, by the time you realize you are not in shape for it, it is too far to walk back! Actually, he's a powerlifter who also happens to be into foreign film and music. Go figure. His legs are as big as my waist!-------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |

My husband, bless his heart always wears his wedding ring at the gym, I know it hurts his hand because mine hurts my hand. I wear gloves and the ring stays on always.-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! |

Not married. Steady employment. All around nice person. Things are going fantastically, we're now offically a couple, and I'm going to watch him compete in a few weeks! It's nice to go out on a limb and be rewarded. -------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |

I'm really busy with school/gym ect. right now. I'm trying to scrape together a little time for you guys when I can. As for waterfountain boy, I saw him both Saturday and Sunday, and things are going really well. I'm a little nervous, though, I've heard that when something is too good to be true, it probably is. The really nice thing is that I see him almost every day at the gym. I'm pretty comfortable around him, knowing that he was interested when he had only ever seen me post-workout sweaty, but luckily I clean up pretty good too. -------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |

When my husband and I met, we kept waiting for "the other shoe to drop" so to speak. It was too good, we couldn't find anything wrong with each other, etc...we'll be married 8 years this spring...not that we didn't eventually find out some things "wrong" with each other...lol If it's meant to be, it's meant to be...have fun and enjoy! -------------- What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us ----- William Morrow |

I think one of the best things about us being together is that we motivate eachother at the gym. We've been going to the gym at the same time everyday for months and just realized it. He's usually in a different area than me, but we check in periodically, "how was your run?"..."how was your deadlift?". It's so great being able to cheer eachother on!-------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |
