Hey< I have a question for all the natural bodybuilders out there - If you start to smooth out on Friday what can you do to counteract it? My training partner reduced her water intake yesterday and started smoothing out in her abs last night/this morning.

Wait I'm not following you, she has a comp Saturday but she's starting to smooth out Friday? What has her last week diet and water intake been like?
It can be due to stress and then maybe some white sugar can help (honey, dry fruit, sorbet...) If not stop all sodium and water intake and eat lots of potassium rich food like dried bananas or abricots....) Water retention is an extremely difficult thing to control and personal experience is the very best remedy.

Thanks, Philia - we tried a couple of things and she dropped some of it. She brought a better physique to this show than her last one, i think that that is important. I am going back for the evening show to pump her up at five, we'll see what happens - looks good!
