I by no means am an expert on creatine 2fingers, but I have read that it is a naturally occuring substance in our body. If we choose to supplement our natural supply we go thru a loading phase to saturate the muscle. You do add some water weight(around 4-8 pounds). If you stop taking it completely it usually takes between 2-4 weeks to deplete this supply to a normal level. Which I would have to ASSUME would be the amount of time it would take to lose the water weight. Also remember it's not necessary to cycle creatine. If you choose, you may just go thru another loading phase when you would normally cycle.
