Hello everyone,
Do any of you guys ever feel weak on certain days? It drives me crazy when I don't get as many reps as I usaully do, then I usually do an extra set to try and get it and end up getting even less which makes me even more upset. Does this happen to any of you from time to time?

Is this happening because the order of your exercises have changed? For example if the program for the week has me doing crunches after doing pulldowns I can't do as many crunches because I use my abs during the pulldowns as well. I can't do as much weight with triceps if I just did presses or pushups etc.
Normally unless you get little sleep, are sick, or eat very badly you should always be able to do the same or more than before.

pull ups are an excellent ab exercise, and they will prefatigue your abs prior to crunches, as will push ups.

Sometimes it's best to just go home and sleep or move the workout to another day....I have them from time to time...where I feel as strong as 5yr old boy....those days I just either go home or do maybe do half the normal workout and go home....and think about what caused me to be so 'weak'....make sure to eat well night before, have a good breakfast, sleep at least 8 hours etc....all these things have a huge impact....also a hard workout may weaken u for a couple days after....such as a hard squat or deadlift workout....

I just hit cardio for that day and forget about the lifting until another day. I'd be wasting my time anyway lifting less weight.

I hate when this happens because my schedule is usually so hectic.. so I usually just work through it.. Not sure if I should but I do anyways.. I figure something is better than nothing..

For me it depends on how weak I really feel...if it's just a bit of lethargy than I work through it , maybe shorten the workout....maybe change some things...if I feel like total crap I just don't even bother and go home....sometimes nothing is really better than something...
