I thought my lower back was a weak link....however i'm not sure. Today for dynamic leg day i did the following

box jump squats 155/3x8

dls w/ bands arond top of rack( pulling up)on a platform 2in high.....done exposivly
315/3
405/3
455/1
455/1/2

good mornings
135/3
155/3
175/3
200/3
220/3
245/3

with 4 sets heavy abbs

Should my good morning be over 300 for a 485 squat?

if you nee dmy max leg day I can post that too

As menace says that looks pretty spot on for GM/Squat weight ratio. Are you looking at increasing your GM's? Or you looking for the weeak link in your squat? Might be your abs. Which lift are you trying to find your weak link in?

Well when I tried 500....barly slowed thr weight down lol

I can box squat 405 + chains 2 times......

As of right now, my whole squat feels kinda shaky. When i'm over 450......

I'm gonna start doing some walkouts....with like 500+ get used to "holding" heavy weight. And doing soem pratial negative, just resisting the weight as it goes down.

Any oenhad any luck doing that?

If your having trouble getting the weight out of the hole, then it is either weak hamstrings and glutes, or you may not be dead on with your technique. Are you sitting back far enough to activiate a stretch reflex? Also, do you box squat, and if so, what height? I would recommend a box at parallel to 2 inches below to devolop explosive power from the hole.

My box is set right at parallel level right now..

I'm trying jumping box squats for a while....see what that does..

Well this past week , my good morning reps sky rocketed.....My last set was 315 for 2! after 6 or 7 sets.......and after doing dl's on a platform......odd. Guess I need to reevaluate my weakness?
