Hello I was just curious since I want to lose 80lbs and also build cut/lean muscle how many days should I be doing for cardio. The fitness Plan came up with this:
Mon. legs
Tues. shoulders - calves
Wed. rest
TH. back - forearms - abs
FRI. chest - calves
SAT. triceps - biceps - abs
SUN. rest
Should I do 30 to 40 min of cardio just on my days of rest or each day after my workout? The after work out I learned on here, alswya thought it was the other way around to warm up the body. For the past 2 days I have been doing a fat burn setting on the tread for an hour in the morning well early morning like 4:30am less people there and I feel more comfortable with that. Well thanks for your time in helping me clear somethings up. I will start this Monday and see how things go and might sign up for ft pro 12 cents a days is nothing for a healthier life style.

That is a great program that you have chosenm. I beleive it is in the "weight loss and definition" choice.
To answer your question, go ahead and do a 10-15 min warm up with cardio, if you have a choice, go with the ellipticle trainer (some call it cross trainer) and work up to your 85% max HR. Continue on with your weights then head back to the cardio for another 20 min. Remember to drink before and after, and eat protein!
The first set is a warm up, Suggest starting at 50% of the last set and yes, do increase the weight.
Good luck and hope this helps.

Thanks a bunch carivan that is a perfect answer to my questions. I start on legs today and do Machine Squats ( little nervous with this one since I have never used that machine) and Machine Leg Curls for the back of the thigh. I hope I don't get a charlie horse since I am prone to them in my hamstrings. Again thanks alot to everyone and can't wait to see my pro features on this site specially keeping the journal.
