I know my request is probably uncommon from women, but I have trouble gaining weight. How can I gain weight without eating massive quantities of food, I'm just not a big eater. I like rice, salads, veggies but I also eat red meat. Also if you would like to concentrate your weight gain in one particular area, how would you go about it? Any ideas for me?

What particular area are we talkin' here honey?!?! Have balanced meals throughout the day 5-7 meals and snacks are good. Workout with weights in the rep ranges of 3-8. And cut down on massive amounts of cardio. 30min everyother day tops. Say I wanted a more massive chest. You wouldn't see me poppin out 4set of 15-20 reps. Instead, you may see me doin 3x3 3x8 5x5, reps and sets of that nature.Have a good and well balanced meal right after your workout too. Some protein supplements will help you achieve more weight gain without to many massive amounts of food, just dont let them replace a balanced meal. Have them as an afternoon or midmorning snack, right after you get up, or right before you hit the sack. Hope this helps.

mpinson, what are your workouts like now, and your eating plan? Have you looked at any of the ft programs for gaining? I don't think you can gain weight in any one area just like you can't lose it, but you can build up the muscles. Give us a little more info and check out the ft programs. We'll help you figure it out.
