You can gain weight, you just won't eat enough to do it.

Eat more peanut butter
Take a shot of olive oil in the morning
Eat more Nuts
Stopping thinking that you eat a lot because you don't.
Just eat more. It really is that simple.

personally it has nothing to do with me thinking iam over eating. im a martial arts instructor so im constantly moving and in addition iam a very active person in general. i do eat 3 meals a day and maybe 2 snacks.

ill deff take the advise of more proteins in my diet but what is the shot of olive oil going to do for me ?

If you want to gain weight than 3 meals a day and "maybe 2 snacks" is not going to cut it. It is really a simple concept, keep eating.

obviously its not cutting it because i haven't been gaining .. hence the reason i had posted this ... give me some suggestions other than telling me how easy a concept it is because i do understand that, but from my experience its easier said than done. keep eating but how many meals snacks would be suggested ? and any recommended supplements?

Keep adding calories until you start gaining weight. The suggestions I made are foods that are calorie dense. I was assuming that you probably physically had trouble putting down enough food. Olive oil is good for you and shot of it is over 200 calories. Same thing with a serving of nuts or peanut butter.

Its not cutting it because you are not eating enough. Eat 6 meals a day and like Pemdas said keep adding calories until you start gaining. www.wholefoods.com

You mean people aren't doing this already? I thought this was normal.

And when pemdas says you are not eating enough, he is right. I don't care how active you are. If you are burning 3000 calories and getting 3000 calories, you are not eating enough. If you are burning 7000 calories and eating 7000 calories, then you are still not eating enough.

And I'm pretty sure a shot of olive oil is closer to 400 calories. 400 amazing calories that is.

Do you actually use a shot glass, or just take a pull from the bottle?

If I did this, I would probably put it into a shake. Although, it is pretty much all fat so I bet it tastes pretty good. I never have a problem putting on weight, so I have yet to give this a shot(pun intended).

The eating and eating does not always work the more I eat the more I go to the bathroom I may gain 5lbs but it comes right back out in an hour or so and I have a high metabolism am starting to see weight gain by just eating 3 meals a day and eating 4 eggs a day along with my workout. But the olive oil and peanut butter sound like a good idea

ya peanut butter is gonna be ur best friend. ectomorph's usually have this problem.. dont worry no one is name calling. Also eating 5 times thru out the day might not be the answer becuase it keeps your metabolism at a constant rate of rapid fire! Eat 3 disgustingly huge amts of good calories and snack peanut butter/fruits/veg and pick up some slow digesting protein.. dont know what brand just look it up. congrats you will now be huge.

ok... I'm 22 and 6'2'' and I top out at 160 at the end of the night. In the morning I weigh about 150. About a year ago I trained HARD and ate a ton. I was also on N-LARGE 2 3 times a day. I was lifting more than most people and still smaller than most... The largest I was able to get was 170 and that was eating until I'd almost throw up every meal but I suppose I was eating the wrong things. I just totalled up my diet and I don't even consume 1000 calories per day with 3 full meals. (i eat mainly chicken) anyways... I may have stumbled on a gold mine.

Let me know what you guys think about this. Is it safe? Im thinking about ordering a case... 4 dollars a bar/day and 3600 calories per bar... I think im sold.

EAT REAL FOOD. Save your monry or better yet send it to me.

Guys, break your meals into 6 healthy meals a day. Increase your calories until you start gaining weight. You have to count and keep track. There is no such thing as a hard gainer.

so i counted my calories 2 days ago and i found the obvious reason im not gaining... 3 chicken and light meat meals... not even 1000 calories. Ive added a peanut butter sandwich after every meal and I'm going to write down everything i eat until i get in the habit of eating 3000+ calories a day. thanks.

Whose post was "null." It is pretty incoherant. Stop drinkin' the hootch before you post.

hardgainer001 you have the right idea with your last post. Good luck!

I have the same problem when it comes to my metabolism being high. I eat alot for my size and i think it is ridiculious how long it takes for me to gain weight. I now understand that i have been doing it all wrong! Eating alot is not the answer.I knew about the peanut butter but i never was disiplined enough to consistanly eat it. But today is the second and my peanut butter, olive oil binge comes in to effect. Thanks alot guys:love:
