i just signed up for it but im wondering if working a muscle group just once a week is enough? right now i work my chest every other day, and this program says once a week?

Once a week is fine, It works and if you follow your program you will see good results.

First off welcome to FT. Please fill in your profile, to aid us in helping you. My first suggestion as to your post would be every other day is too much. Muscles need time to rest to grow and get stronger, my guess is you are not going up in strength at this point. 5-7 days is pretty optimal rest time for most non users. I opt for 6, but you need to learn your body to find what works best for you. Glad to have you with us.
