Competition on Tuesday, I made the finals for my weight class (206-225)
Goals:
1RM Bench Press - 275
1RM Squat - 375
1RM Power Curl - 145

I want everyone to know that I cried reading that. They now consider the powercurl a powerlifting movement.

I think the curls are kind of a joke. Not that I'm complaining, the guy in my weight class benches and squats almost the same as I do, but I curl a lot more. All of that time I wasted only doing chest and biceps actually kinda paid off.....weird.

I figured that was just another name for a power clean or somethin- never heard of a power curl lol.

UPDATE:
I WON!
Bench - 280 (that was my third and final chance, I warmed up with 225, and then 265...I probably should've gone for 290..I think I could've got it.)
Squat - 350 X 5. We did 5 reps because my teacher didn't want guys going for too heavy and hurting themselves.
Didn't do curls. The other guy in my weight class benched 295, but failed on his 5 reps of 340 on the squat, which would've beaten my overall total by 5 pounds. SCORE!
