What do you guys think about it?

Basically you eat when you're hungry but only to satisfaction. Not FULL.

Free foods are lean meats, fruits/veggies, whole grains excluding the limited ones below such as quinoa/couscous/oatmeal etc., eggs, SF/FF pudding/jello and fat free dairy.

You are limited to one "meal" a day for ground meat(93%lean or better) and also one "meal" of cereal such as fiber one or shedded wheat but it must be eaten with dairy not by itself.

Also limited to one of the following a day; Whole wheat pasta, potato or brown rice.

For those familiar with Weight Watchers and their points system you still get 35 points to use a week and those can be used for whatever you want. Good for protein shakes, whole wheat bread etc.....

Anyways, point of the post.....I was wondering if this would be a good starting point for someone trying to get their food consumption down to only clean eating?
Thoughts?
TIA!

I think one major problem is knowing when you reach 'satisfaction.' I know I always had a problem knowing when to stop eating and then I layed on the couch wondering why the hell I ate so much.

Yeah, I have that prob too.
I am doing this plan right now and so far I eat alot less thru out the day then I use to.
I don't know if its because I am eating better or the heat but so far I like it.
Just wondering about the plan nutritional wise.

Thanks for your input!

I've used the ww plan and began with the Core plan because I felt I had enough nutritional knowledge to be successful with it. After 2 weeks I switched to the flex plan and it worked much better for me. I was just not disciplined enough to only eat the core foods, so it was harder for me to really track what I was eating.

Personally, I think WW is a nutritionally sound diet and I certainly have had success with it, especially early on, when when I still had a lot of weight to loose. I found the online program really helpful. Now I simply use the info I've gained here and I've started to use Fitday.com to track my intake and it seems to work well.

Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.

WeightWatchers deffinately works and it's a great starting point for anyone who wants to lose weight. I had great success with the flex plan, did not like the core plan. The only bad thing about WW is that they don't really teach you anything about protein, fat, carbs and the importance of the right amounts. Also, I found that I got tired of looking up points. So it's great to get you started, but not something to follow the rest of your life.
