When first starting a program to gain mass and lose weight, should you focus on weight training or aerobics? I know doing both are important, but which should you focus on most?

Aerobics will help with your cardio and help you loose fat faster. But the weight training is where you keep your metabolism at a higher rate. Both are important.
I personally hate aerobics, but I like the Taebo stuff. Maybe because I am a cluts (sp?) sometimes.

I would take a thermogenic (xenadrine) before you go to work out, then do (depending on your ability level)about 20-30 min of cardio them immediatly go lift. This will also get your heart pumping faster so you will have a great weighttraining session. -snow

I don't know about doing that much cardio before weight training. I've also read to do 5min of cardio before lifting and 20 minutes of cardio after. Then again I gues it is whatever your body responds best to.

Here's what I like to do... The gym I go to on base has a TreadWall, and some cardio equipment. I'll usually do 5 minutes on a treadmill, do my weight routine, then do 10 to 15 minutes on the treadwall. You wanna talk about a workout!
