I WAS WONDERING IF WEIGHT TRAINING HELPS TO LOSE WIEGHT. WEIGHT TRAINING WITH CARDIO TO LOSE WEIGHT OR SHOULD I LOSE WIEGHT BEFORE I START TO BEING TO BUILD MUSCLE.

Weight training will help you lose weight because as you gain lean muscle mass, your metabolism will increase...which will help you burn more calories. Now, if you couple this with cardio and a sound diet, you'll be transforming your body to a fat-burning machine!

I think that weight training is the key to weight loss and to help maintain a healthy weight.

Combining Cardio and weight training towards loosing weight is excellant. I like tred mill to start, doing intermitent windsprints during first 30 min. Next, I follow the routines provided here and than take my gyms ab class and cardio class (or as much as I can endure at this point, which leaves me a sore puppy by completion. So do it! As we all know, gaining weight is easy - get to your target, than consider muscle gains (takes longer) OLDDAWG
