Im a guy, but for some strange reason i have really big legs, like muscle wise and bone wise. It seems wierd to me that I have this, and plus I store most of my fat on my legs and not on my upper body, although im a pretty skinny guy ( 160 pounds, 72 inches), I was wondering if anyone else has this?

But you are actually very lucky!! (have you seen those guys with big arms and shoulders but all skinny sticky legs?!!!! lol it looks rather funny!!)

Now, put on some nasty lean muscle mass on your upper body part and you'll be one good looking guy!

Sorry cpaxp, nothing personal But I am 36 and where a knee brace when i do my legs or when I am at Karate I blew out my knee about 3 years ago mind you its only the one knee. But I work hard to strengthon and condition it. But mostly I was laughing at these young macho weight lifters that are embarased to where shorts. so accept my apologies

sempai, I personally thought if I wore a brace that my knes would not strengthen
naturally so I never got a pair but on another subject anyone here know what a 70 in
tall bodybuilder generally weighs in competition? A small boned guy like wrists of 7 in?

cpaxp, You can get several styles of knee braces, depending on the type of injury you have had or arthritic problems. You can strenghten your knees while using a brace it is possible for sure. But not knowing your situation they may not work, just a thought to help.

I think thats unfair to the guys who "can't" build big legs. for genetic reasons, being that legs are usually hard to grow big in the first place especially for an ectomorph. Most guys who are big I assume do squats(for their many benefits) which means a lot of the big guys with skinny legs arent that way because they want to be. its the same as mocking someone who has small arms compared to the rest of his body,he either isnt training them right or just doesnt have the genetics.

There's a difference between a guy with small, but muscular legs and a guy who just doesn't train his legs at all. So when I think about some guy that's huge up top with stick legs, I think of those guys who refuse to train their legs because it's not considered a manly bodypart.

That's almost right lumina but a lot of it's a lack of effort. I don't know anyone who wouldn't like muscular legs but many of them aren't willing to take the pain or put forth the effort it takes to get 'em.

Don't feel bad about having big legs compared to the rest of your body.My thighs are 20" and my calfs are 15".These may sound like small measurements but take into consideration I am 14 years old, 4'11", and 97 pounds.I love my big legs. You have to love big legs when you're a runningback on a varsity football team.

One key thing to remember, legs are the foundation of the tree. Without a stong trunk, the branches will not survive. This may sound like a cliche', but it is in fact the truth.

my boyfriend is a skateboarder, who used to play football, baseball, and basketball and he has these thick, sexy legs, mind you, his upper body matches his lower, but I've always had a thing for powerfull looking thighs and calves, so just work on your upper body and do alot of lighter weights, higher reps on your legs to tone them. You'll probably get nice 'tear drops', too. Gook luck.

So big legs. Is that all we talk about? I am a 35yr old woman 126lbs but hold all my fat. I really think all. In my belly/midsection. I am also a mother of two. I thought I'd put that in. So if we are destined to hold our weight where we hold it what do I do to loose weight there? Otherwise I'm not complaining. I lift weights so my legs and arms don't seem so.... well... chicken thin. Any suggestions.

You cannot spot reduce, You'll just have to get on a diet lowering your total calories per day, and do some cardio, you'll start seeing results if you do these things correctly.
