My two favorite breakfasts are
#1. Berries with 1% cottage cheese (I use a fozen berry mix-bueberries,blackberries,rasberries, which I thaw in the microwave then add the CC, sometimes I add a few crumbled almonds or walnuts. --Takes 2min to make.
#2. Eggs/whole wheat tortilla/LF cheese/Salsa. I use egg beaters, so I just pour out of container into small pan and add chopped up cheese strings (you know the ones kids eat). I put a small tortilla on top and flip it over to heat the tortilla and finish cooking the egg. Add salsa , roll up and munch down. Takes maybe 5min max.
I have to get myself ready as well as my 2 kids and make their lunches and my lunch and we're all out the door by 8:15am. I just kind of fit in making my breakfast while I'm doing everything else. Women are great multi-taskers!! There are lots of other quicker breakies, but these are my fav's!
-------------- Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.

1/2 cup instant oatmeal mixed with 3/4 cup skim milk (in the microwave for two minutes) add some cinnamon, 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin and some splenda. It tastes great and you get complex carbs from the oatmeal, protein from the skim milk, and fiber from the pumpkin. Just make sure there are no additives in the pumpkin like sugar or sodium. I've also read that cinnamon can help increase the effectiveness of insulin in your body. You also stay full all morning.
