dips behind the chairs is something you when you trips on the carpet. Can curls as opposed to can't curls are what you did to your hair without heated curlers and calf raises is what them southern boys do to increase their herds!!
Dips behind the back. Position your body straight and at 45 %'s to the ground, take your weight on your arms and slowly lower your back, keeping your body straight. Then extend your arms forcing your body upward, thats a dip and you should feel it in your upper arms, specifically tricep area.
I assume that using a chair means using the arm rests for each hand? Failing, which you can hang between to level parallel bars dropiing down and extending upward.
Can curls...not too sure, but a curl works the bicep, holding a weight (normally a dumbell) perhaps a can of tune, you aim your hands at the ground, bending at the elbow flex toward your chin, stop before you get there, then return to the down position, control the movement in both directions.
Calf Raises. Stand on a block or step, bracing yourself on the ball/toes, allow tha heel of your foot to be unsupported, rise onto your tip toes and feel the burn in your calf lower yourself and repeat. use a door or wall to support yourself.
Hope that helps.
