Just wonderin... what are net carbs. In the last few months i have been seeing little boxes that say net carbs 5 or 6, but in the nutrition box it is like 30. so what are net carbs.

If you're reading products that contain high carbs like 30 but say net carbs are like 5, those are basically designed for folks on low carb diets. They use sugar alcohols (like glycerol, etc) that shouldn't (key word is shouldn't, sugar alcohol can cause an insulin affect on low carbers) affect those low carbing. For the rest of population, the body will see it as the full amount of carbs.
If however you see something that has 10 carbs and it contains 3 fiber, the net carb for that product will be 7 carbs. That will be a true carb reading for everyone regardless of whether they low carb or not.

Net carbs are carbs that have an impact on blood sugars. Thus they are also sometimes called impact carbs.

what do you mean by "impact on your blood suger" what does that do to your body... store it burn it or what.

Impacting blood sugar elicits an insulin response. This is your "storage" hormone, and really only wanted at one time per day, and that is post workout.
