Unfortunately to me, most protein bars are an "emergency" food. Maybe if you think about this, have you ever tried to mold protein yourself and hold it together? Pretty tough. Now, I wonder just what kind of fillers they use to bind things together. And when are they made? There is one top company I know of that wil to this day still not make a protein bar due to the fact that they cannot make a "quality" bar to their standards. And they have been around since the 60's doing this. So, when I have to have one, I look for the most variety of proteins in it(prefferably isolates and hydrolosates), egg protein, etc., very low sugar, 2-3 gr. tops, and as small a list of "extra'" ingredients as I can find.
-------------- Failing to plan is like planning to fail!
