I have a question for all you girls out there. What is the most appealing trait that "your" man must have? And by this I mean anything that pertains to looks or personality...thanks if you all can help...

That's a tough question.

I never date men who don't make me extremely nervous. Men who are well-educated, powerful, intelligent, and confident, make me very nervous. When he looks at me, I know that he knows something about me that I don't know about myself and he's intrigued by it. I can't explain it, on some level he's dangerous and that's exciting. There is no one thing, it's an attitude I find completely irresistable. It's more important than looks or anything else I can think of.

Sense of humor. I figure if you can't laugh about life in it's "ups" and "downs" then your wasting your time.

Attentiveness...not so much being coddled, but rather paying enough attention to know WHEN I need to be fussed over.

Kind of like being observant enough to know the moments I need a friend as opposed to needing a lover....knowing the difference between the times I can do it by myself and those that I need him to step in and take control.

It's not the looks OR the personality as Anni said so well, and I'd go one step further -- I want a man to be smarter than me.

That impresses the hell out of me! I love to learn, I want to be shown new experiences and have his passions shared with me. Be it classical art or skydiving, know and love your stuff and you're all right with me.
