Jeez! This is the least active forum on FT I think, what's up with that? Perhaps there are no really age specific topics when it comes to being healthy...hmmmm

People generally post in other forums....age is just a number.....plus most people rather not draw attention to it.....and on top of that...there's no rule that you can only post in certain forums after meeting specific criteria...
Plus most of the 'geezers' are very busy people lol...with jobs, kids, and other responsibilities....

Jim, most of us geezers prefer to use mental telepathy to communicate. We don' need no stinking board. You may be a late bloomer and the telepathic senses may not kick in until 45 or so. Welcome however to the geezer board.
Menace, I'm proud of every minute of my age youngun. You are welcome on the geezer board as well. -------------- Sometimes life is like herding cats. Charlie

Hey Jim, us geezers are still here. 54 for me in another month! It is nice to see someone post in this area though. I used to look in here all the time, but it was pretty dead. Welcome to the "club", glad you are fit and fabulous.-------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Personally, I'm just living in denial and feel I should be posting in the under 25 forum:). Actually I know I feel better and probably look better than I did when I as 25!
Happy pre birthday wishes to both Ron and Mike! -------------- Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there. |

:) Actually the reaction time can be more controlled. And if nothing else, there's still life in the old farts. Just look around the forums. :)-------------- Mike in Pensacola Now. |

I see men at our gym who are well into their 50-60s...and are in amazing shape(and can easily pass for 40s)...I have tremendous admiration for them because i know they have been at it for decades....we have a couple of them run in pick up bball games during the day....and the fact that they can in itself is very impressive....
age really is just a number....it's how you feel inside that trully counts....

============ Quoting from bb1fit: I used to look in here all the time, but it was pretty "dead". ============= Just kidding...you geezers give me motivation. That's one of the reasons I decided to get fit was so I could be a geezer. |

OK OK so I do belong in this group, but they say you are as young as the person you @@@@##$$##....And yes my husband is only 35. He actual married me when he was 21 and what was he thinking? Anyways, I taught my first cycling class today and kicked those youngsters butt, so I guess it's a state of mind. My youngest is only 7 and a boy, he really does keep me on my toes. The age thing only gets to me when I am called mame. To th 40+ club, I'm honored to be above ground and kicking around so heck let's celebrate.
See you in the gym Dendy |

I'm here!! Just last night I was complaining to my husband that he was 10 years younger than me and I had to start thinking seriously about what I wanted to do in my future years, that I "am already 45!!" He laughed and said, "you are only 44, dear"! So, this old geezer just gained a year in a day!
