I would just like to know what is the advantage of drinking a gallon of water a day. Couldn't that build up water weight? Or would it be lost later in the day? I just want to know how much water to consume a day and what the benefits are. Also - is it true that water (if you drink about 32 ozs like i do before a meal) actually fills you up before a meal? These a probably really stupid questions, but I'm just trying to sort out myths and facts so I can benefit from my daily intake of water.
Water keeps you hydrated, cleans out your system, and yes, at times, can make you feel full. Plus, it will quench your thirst much better than many other beverages.
It's suggested eight, eight ounce glasses of water a day, minimum... most on FT consume much more than that.
