I have noticed in my aging years that the weight has accumulated in areas that it didn't before. My stomach has increased, whereas until I was 30, it was flat and happy! Is the stomach the area most likely to increase as we age?-------------- Veda MISERY IS OPTIONAL ***When you are up to your ears in trouble, try using the part that is not submerged. ***The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan. Yes, and it is the most dangerous for health. It's where most of my fat is. The rest is between my ears, if you would believe my wife and my father. But since starting here I have now had to tighten my belt two notches as of this morning and yesterday after work I put on a pair of shorts I bought last year and when I let go they fell off:laugh:. I feel great.-------------- I will get to it as soon as I am done lifting. |

After 3 years of this I have to say it is the abs and hips for me too. Everything is shaping up nicely and getting firmer but those places are just clinging to the fat for dear life. -------------- ~Victoria~ ...Do not be discouraged; everyone who got where he is, started where he was.--anon ...There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.--Beverly Sills |

Is there any truth to people gaining weight in their stomach area due to having children? What I mean is I didn't have that problem after three kids, it came on later in life, but I have heard many say they gained because of pregnancies, yet I know a woman at my son's school who has had seven children and is in great shape and have known many more. Do pregnancies contribute to gaining and keeping fat or is it like most other things, what you eat and how much you exercise? -------------- Veda MISERY IS OPTIONAL ***When you are up to your ears in trouble, try using the part that is not submerged. ***The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan. Bummer - I just wish I could afford a tummy tuck...I'd look great then! I just hate the pooch. I know though, gals, if we followed a super clean diet (not - I love too many bad things!) and did a ga-zillion ab exercises...it would be somewhat better.............I should marry a dr!

Amen sandysford, I can fix the belly, what I can't fix is my breasts. First chance I get I'm having them replaced with the perkiest, prettiest set of store-boughts money can buy. Hopefully, it will be someone else's money.-------------- Anni ******* Hard work must have killed somebody |

My story a couple of years ago:
-->plastics professional walks into exam room and says: "Hello there, I read hear that you are interested in breast reduction and lift today" -->me: "Me? oh no..who told you that? See, this is what happened...I went and got myself one of those nipple rings, you know, with the little balls on the ends...and now the damn thing is stuck in my zipper" As he went into histerics, I looked at his laugh lines and though, "gee, you'd a thought he'd a done someting about those" |

Women's fat deposits do change with age.
I miss being totally flat (pre-comp) and just wearing a soft little microfiber bra-ette. My hormones went nuts when I got off the pre-comp diet and my chest got bigger than it had been before. Hate it, can't find a bra to fit right for the life of me. It doesn't help that my back is so wide and big around that I need a large starp size, but a medium cup size - harder to find than you would expect.... Whine Whine Whine. Okay, i will go finish cleaning up sewer water now so I can workout and get rid of these fat breasts. -------------- \\"Inscribe this on the charm that dangles from your navel, girls. Asimmer they make a thing that will extend the "around your back" part of the bra. It makes it like 3-4" longer. Check out JC Penney or even Victoria's Secret. Maybe even Sears. They are like an additional set of hooks. That should help with the comfort issue at least a little bit.-------------- Anni ******* Hard work must have killed somebody |

it's not just the laydeezz with problems. With weights and diet I have shed about 46 pound and am about 10 to 16 pound overweight still. I have flabby booby bits on top of the firm pecs I can feel underneath. My stomach looks in ok shape standing up- the top two abs show as well nearly there. But when I sit down I consatina upward and outward with a stomach pouch like a roo and her baby.

At least there is these things called clothes that I will be able to cover up with should things drop south - ohhh and I here Victoria Secret's has some great feminine secrets!
