OK,I'm sure many of you notice the unbelievable photos of men/women in magazines like Flex,Musclemag etc.For many of us that strive to sculpt our bodies the answer seems pretty obvious:

Buy this product and you will look like me,then-and-now photos, etc.I personally think that bodybuildig has become too commercialized and many so called bodybuilders and sponsors know fully well that the claims are baseless and that many products were produced 10-15 years after most bodybuilders had great physique. But hey...that's life and the whole purpose of marketing right? To get to my question, how many of you would recommend supplements for muscle/mass growth?I certainly wouldn't ask a nutritional store salesman or look in some magazine just to pay for a heavy advertising campaign. Thanks in advance!

I would add quality multi vitamins/minerals plus 1 to 2 tablespoons flaxseed oil daily as a foundation for the above. Good post Itroisi. Right on in my opinion.

By the way, there is a product that has everything Itroisi mentioned in it plus a few more to boot. It's Anabolic Activator III by Optimum Nutrition. I like the chocolate or banana flavor. It's a good value for what you get in it.

Not more to be said, Ditto the above.
Oh ya, and a little warning to go with all the adds and marketing....Notice that most of them have a disclaimer that reads the following:
THE RESULTS SHOWN ARE NOT TYPICAL! lol

my advice for strength training is, first and foremost, the following:
1. eat
2. train
3. rest

after getting these three going, then i personally start in with the following: a multivitamin/mineral; milk/egg protein; glutamine; creatine; liver tabs; aminos; whey protein w/carbs(post-workout).

Congrats on the insight into this marketing hype! They get lots of people. Your best sound advice came from our humble moderator rev8ball! I could add nothing to his post. Follow it exactly as he stated, and you will gain.
