Whey protein is the obvious choice for post workout but what other supplement (that is not harming your body) going to help me back on the muscle. I have heard to try glutamine powder or creatine if anyone knows anything else please tell me. I was also told to try out ripped fuel but I would like to hear a professional's opinion or someone who knows exactly what they are speaking of thanks.

At your age, you really don't need anything other than a good multivitamin and protein powder that will help you reach your daily protein requirements (if you don't get it from foods).

Yes, that would be a good choice if you have a hard time sleeping. However, make sure that you take it on an empty stomach...otherwise, it's no good.

Say I ate a meal at 8 what would be a suitable time to take it?

Preferably, a couple of hours later...but you can probably get away with taking it at around 9:30.

Oh, one other thing, don't consume anything that has calcium...this competes with absorption. This should also be on the ZMA label.

It helps you sleep and also recover from workouts faster.

I'm not exactly sure how zma works but other than what rpacheco said, I think it helps do something with your testerone levels. However, I think I read somewhere that is more beneficial for people over 30. I believe the reason behind this was at our age (I'm 19 as well), our testerone levels are high already and taking ZMA wouldn't affect them that much. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong because if it is beneficial for my age group...I'm gonna get some.

take a good multi vitamin and high doses of NATURAL vitamin e and c,if ya cant sleep take calcium and magnesium(much cheaper and all of these are needed to keep cortisol levels down and youll save money.

ZMA does not induce sleep, it enhances the quality of your sleep, which in turn promotes anabolic hormones. Tissue repair and muscle growth are maximized during sleep, with hrs. 1-3, stages 3 and 4 being optimal.
