An internet or fitbuddy search will more than sort you, however.
Casein is a Calcium\Milk based protein.
It has a much slower abosrbtion rate through the large intestine than that of whey protein.
Good to use before bed, for the slower absorbtion
Slow absorbtion provides a constant or longer release of protein than that of whey, thus helping in reducing catabolism whilst sleeping.

So, it's best to use whey DURING the day and casein before bed? That makes much sense. I've been using muscle milk before bed to reduce catabolism. Should I switch to casein for nighttime?

you only really need whey after a workout. casein is great before bed.. like a glass of milk or cottage cheese.
