I've tried the ab doer xtreme, that thing does NOT work! I am very upset that I paid $130 for it. It's crap! ...
I'm tired of doing sit ups and crunches and that's why I have decided to use ab equipments. Do any of ya'll know any good ab workout equipment that REALLY works?

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time or money on any ab exercise equipment...there are plenty of exercises you can do without spending any money and they are all effective (assuming your diet is appropriate)...leg raises, bicycle crunches, reverse crunches...if you are set on buying equipment, invest in a medicine ball or a pilates ball...I love those things, and you will definitely feel the burn.

yep. equipment not necessary. some other ideas though...an incline bench, a bar to hang from and do leg lifts...or my fave, a partner. leg throw-downs are fantastic.
g'luck.

ksee, I'm really bored of doing the same ol crunches and sit-ups everyday. I want to try something else.
kirby, you know where I can get one of those bars I can hang from?
ravenwolf, what effective workout equipment did you see on info-commercial?

there's lots of different types of ab exercises - why not check the exercise directory here and exhaust some of the equipment free options first? or, if you belong to a gym, go to an aerobics-type class. lots of times they'll do an ab workout after the aerobics part...
as for the bar, check a sporting goods store. i think you can get some that fit in a door frame. or just go to a park with a jungle gym.

Personally, the "equipment" I had best results with for my abs were the Medicine Ball and the Swiss Ball (the big one you sit on).
The best way to get strong abs is through resistance training.
-------------- - Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right.
- If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks.
