So as I said in my introduction post.I am new to fitness and diet.Never done it befor,at all!Isn't that disgusting?!Anyway.
I'm eating good-according to the plan, and losing at a slow but healthy pace..although a little dissapointing 'cause don't we want it all now?!*warm smile*
Anyway I am 5'6" and 160lbs,51%body fat.Yes deadly and disgusting.Although while wearing clothes I don't look that bad...as long as they're loose.(wink)
I need to burn fat obviously,I'm at a dangerous place and live a sittin' life.I'm so determined to make this a life style change so help me out:

Q: How do I burn fat so I can later get toned,I can't see it under all this fat obviously!I cary all my weight in the thigh, belly and upper arms.I know you can't target train but I want to burn it off baby!
I have at home a
total trainer,
stair stepper,
free weights,
weight machine,
stationary bike and
regular bike(I can ride it on weekends only)and an
incline bench.
also a health rider.
To take into consideration-I have a weak back from work accident(thearapist said I didn't heal because I'm motionless) and bad left knee with a metal pin in it.
I'm sorry this is so long-help a girl out and you'll be happy to see her success soon!

Obviously diet and exercise are two of the biggest factors in losing fat. But this has got to become a change in lifestyle and it has to be something you are willing to committ to. Results will not show up overnight, it takes time. You need to put yourself into a caloric defecit in order to shed your excess bodyfat. Eating 5-6 healthy balanced meals is also very important. Since you have a lot of good equipment at home, a good strategy is to perform your cardiovascular training FIRST thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This is where your dedication comes in. Often times the last thing we want to do, is the first thing we NEED to do. Make this a healthy habit and don't forget about your mental health. Keep a positive attitude and you will achieve your goals with no problem. Good Luck and we are all here to provide help and support.

dahayz says it very eloquently. He is exactly right. Besides doing the cardio, use the health rider. I know someone who has one of these and continued use of it is very beneficial. You can add weights to it, and it will give you a nice total body workout. You may think aobut a circuit type training regimine, especially if you have an extrememly hard time with the early morning cardio. this option would be to do a cycle of health rider, rest, a couple minutes, and do another. Try to weekly increase by 10% your length of health rider time. Do this 3 times, then you should be somewhat glycogen depleted. Then do your cardio. After you get stronger, switch to your weight machine and do your circuit with it and then the cardio. Besst of luck to you, and congratulations on your resolve to get healthy. You will get all the support you want here. Keep us posted, and post any questions you may have.
