i have completed an 8 week mass builder i have changed most of my weight after about 5 weeks. I don't want to gain a whole lot of weight, I only weigh 155lbs and would like to get to 170-180lbs, so my question is how often do you increase your weight and by how much??

I have found that I add weights when your body tells you that you can. Meaning, that if I don't feel the burn for the last 3 reps of my set, I will increase it on my next set and start with that weight on my next gym night. Hope this helps!

If you can complete your sets relatively easy, it is time to increase your weights.

Increasing your weights is something you should always strive for! Why would you not? It is precisely what we do. The stronger the body, the better. A good diet will keep you toned and firm. If it was that easy to get big, don't you think we would all look that way? Believe me, none of us who are serious in this ever say, whoa, man, that is enought weight! I am just getting way too big!

Just remember that when you increase the weights, to maintain your form otherwise your weight increase will do you no good. I discovered my form was lacking just this week. I was making great increases in my weights and it just so happened that my husband had a off day of training and went just to watch me. He corrected my form and I had a great back and shoulder workout. In correcting my form I had to decrease the weight but in turn I felt the workout the next day.
-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!!
