I recently hurt my knee running to the point where I couldn't put any pressure on my leg at all (running in the wrong shoes, didn't stop when I knew I was in trouble and tried to tuff it out). Anyways, I used the RICE therapy and am slowly getting back, it's been 4 days. My question is, when can I start training my legs again? After the pain is gone or would I need more recovery time? I'm dying to get back to running (in the correct shoes of course) but am afraid I will start too soon.

take 2 weeks off...and then ease back into it...lil by lil
