Is doing deadlift better on back days? or is it better on leg days? I usually do this workout:
Day 1:Chest & cardio
Day 2: Legs,abs
Day 3: Back & Shoulders
Day 4: No weights but play basketball, run
Day 5: Triceps & Biceps
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Chest

first off its up to you but I would recommend seriously that you seperate your leg and back day further apart because deads are the most complete body workout and will no doubt drain you the most. You will also have better gains if you seperate them more only because they both play into each other

yea might want to change it a lil .....i'd do 2 days on one day off ( mon tues wed off. thurs ,friday, sat and seun rest)..........i do deadlifts on back day because yes the intial drive is with the legs howevwer your back locks it out( if done properly) just make sure you r doing it right and have very good form.........if you would liek to try somthing a lil differnt that works about all of your lower back ...........do 3/4 deadlifts....get in a smith machine or power rack and get the bar where its at about knee level, get done like your going to deadlift it, get your grip, drive the weight up with legs then lock out with your back , then slowly lower the weight back down to just below the knees( don't let it come to rest)the drive it back up. do these nice a slow, you can proably do alot more weight this way since the range of motion is less , but i liek to switch these up every now and then for a lil diffent feel
