I recently bought some creatine monohydrate and l-glutamine. Before i start to take i wanted to know when i should take for optimal use. I generally workout mid day around 2-3 and occasionally 4pm.

For me, I would have to say post workout.

I agree, taking them post-workout aids in recovery time.

For the L-glutamine, I would take it pre and post training. About 5-10 gr. preworkout, and then 15 grms. post workout, mixed with your creatine and protein/carb drink.
