im not sure how much my bar weighs? its a 1 inch bar? is there like a standard weight to those?

is it a 6 foot olympice weight bar? if so 45lbs is standard weight.

step on the scale. now step on the scale while holding the bar. Do simple subtraction.
Olympic bar = 45lbs
Ez curl bar - most weigh about 18lbs
cheaper, smaller weight sets the bars average about 10 lbs...

Amy has the right advice as usual...simply step on the scale with the bar, step off, drop the bar and get back on the scale. Simple subtraction.
Bars do vary..for instance our ez curl bars weigh 33 lbs.
A standard olympic bar is 45 lbs. though pretty universal.

lol i feel kinda stupid that i didnt think of that. i did it. my ez bar is 15 pounds with clamps and my normal bar is 20. i should get an olympic bar though. also i have new weight plates and oldder weight plates that i got from my cousin. they were his fathers though. they seem to be 3 or 4 pounds heivier then my new ones??????

Just for another data point - My olympic bar is 45lbs, my ez curl bar (made to use with olympic weights) is 15lbs.
