Where do I add more calories?

I have been working very hard on losing 21# -- 17# gone so far and still going strong. I am going for an orientation at a local health club this evening, and I know that the current diet routine I had been following will need to be tweeked a bit. I have been faithfully following a 1200cal/day diet, but I know (from experience) that I will need more intake with the added exercise. I have been doing 45 minutes to 1 hour of aerobics 5-6 x/week for the past 3 weeks, but I wanted something a little "sweatier".

I know that I need to bump up my calorie intake a bit, but where do I add the calories? In snacks? Larger meal portions? and what kinds of calories would be the best to add? Thanks for posting! Lisa

Hi
Try adding protein into your diet either as a snack or main course. I usually eat tuna or chicken (without the fat/skin)! Also try adding fibre into your diet such as wholegrain cereals and fruit!
Hope it helps!

Like metalgearsingh said, up your calories with protien
(1gram per lb of body weight) and get into the good carbs with fiber. No refined stuff. And take in only good fats.
Whatever your bodyweight is, multiply by 13 and that will give you maintainance calories. If you want to lean out, just cut back.
Hope this helps and keep up the good work.
