Is whey protein any good? I use soya at the moment! any advice on which powder to use? e.g. what one after a workout and what before and if i can consume 2 types in one day?

I would finish up what you have, and switch over to 100% whey isolate. That is the best qualityout there. Take either one after your workout.

ok Will buy some soon! thanks for your help! :) Also, Can i have 2 types? like for example have whey after a workout and another during the day? How many times do you need to consume a protein shake anyway? I usually consume it 2wice? Is that ok? Also, Is MetRX any good?

Besides pre and post workout, protein shakes are best used as a supplement if you cannot get enough protein from whole foods. Or, you could use them as an in-between meal snack when your on the run. So, if you cannot consume enough protein from real food, then add as many shakes as your budget allows to meet your daily requirement.

Right on dahayz!! Supplements are just that. They are to "enhance or add" to your daily diet. Soemtimes people tend to forget that!
