whey isolate/concentrate?

what is the diffrence between whey protien isolate and concentrate?

is one better for PWO than the other?

isolate has more protein per gram. However, for the price, the are about equal.

Isolate is bascially concentrate with more processing. Normally for the price, unless you find it on sale or have some reaction to concentrate, then it is just as well to use.

Concentrates can range to 80%on the high end. Microfiltered isolates will be around 90.

thanks guys. i was looking to change my protien and saw that the fitness labs isolate was almost double the price of the concentrate. i decided to stick with ON (which i think is isolate) and just picked up a diffrent flavor than usual.
