I just had one and it tastes honestly, like crap! I blended in a banana and that helped a little. (I made the mistake of blending it with skim milk, which I just read in another post, isn't a good idea) Anybody have suggestions on what else I could add to make it bareable to drink?

What brand did you use? I always mix mine with milk because it tastes sooo much better. If you're not a big fan of the taste, maybe you should opt for a different brand name.
Mixing it with fruits, peanut butter, and/or yogurt will help. I like the chocolate ice cream flavor Labrada ProPlete blended with peanut butter and a banana. I'm craving one just thinking about it.

Ya thats true. They don't ALL taste great. You have to find one that you like. Before I buy I always ask the owner of the pro shop if I don't like it will he take it back. If he's a good business man he will. I use 2% milk and they are like good milk shakes. I use Basic and MVP

I mix mine with milk as well, except PWO. It's actually more beneficial with milk (you get an extra 8g of slower digesting protein to balance and slow the whey a bit). I take Optimum 100% Whey Chocolate and it tastes pretty good. Try switching up your brand for next time. Just ask around here for good ones.
