A quick question here. I am 6'0 tall. I weigh 200 lbs. I drink a whey protein shake in the morning, after my mid-day workout, and before going to bed. I put one scoup of protein (aprrox. 31 g)into milk. Does this sound like too much whey, not enough, just right? Just wondering, thanks for your time.

P.S. I eat normally -- but am not on a high protein diet, ergo me drinking the supplement.

Whey protein is best when used right after a workout because it gets absorbed into the muscles very quickly.

In the morning and pre-bedtime, try taking a protein blend that contains caseinate and some dietary fiber to slow digestion, kinda like a time release.

You can also have some low fat cottage cheese b4 bed. Takes very long to digest, and just stays there a bit.
