Okay, here's the deal: I NEED to have a steak tonight, period. Not a huge steak, just something to calm my craving. What cut is generally the leanest?

Not sure if I'm correct, but I always thought top round was.

Anything ending in loin will be ok. But whats wrong with that Nice Juicy New York Strip Loin? Medium on the grill, Or a 1" rib Steak, with a baked sweet potatoe? Ummmmmmyummy.

I've been told eye of round is fine too. I know it's allowed on a competition diet.

Hey Richard, I have a pretty good sense of humor, but there DOES come a point when enough is enough. I hope you understand.

12 oz Filet Mignon, grilled Pittsburgh Blue........
MAJOR YUMMY!
But carivan is correct, too: Boneless, center cut NY is my second fav.

Got ya tarab. I have a question...with all these big steaks, what is an actual serving size...I read on here that its like 3 OZ....that's wouldn't fill a mouse.

Serving size more or less depends on your own nutrition plan. My daily intake is 2000 cal max and a 200 protein max. So with 5-6 meals I use 5-6oz servings. Tara's intake is a lot less then mine so she probably uses 4-5oz svgs.

Cool...so in reference to something else, how big would a 5-6 oz of serving be...the size of a hand, fist, I really dont know...I think this is the reason that the population of the US is continuing to get heavier...we don't know how much a serving size is.
