I am relatively new to working out and have been using the same schedule for around the last six months
Day1: chest and triceps
rest
Day 2: back and biceps
rest
Day 3: shoulders
( and I usually do legs once every two weeks)
however I was talking to someone and they said it is better to do back and shoulders together as well as grouping your tricep and bicep workout on the same day which is better, any help will be greatly appreciated on the general topic of a good weekly workout

Im assuming your relatively new, and also that you don't know yet that your legs are a part of your body.
Therefore, answering your question in the subject line: all of them.

what I kind of meant to ask is it better to do bis and back or supersets or tris and bis (which would produce better results)

how do you intend on working your chest without working your tris or your back without working your arms?
Personally, I think its better to do all of them together. I follow a total body split. At the most, as a beginner I would split upper/lower. Why are you so keen on seperating muscle groups? Because its the popular thing to do? Because its what you assumed you were supposed to do?

Think of exercises not muscles....focus on big exercises and try to continually get stronger in them....eat more....eat clean and u'll get stronger, bigger, and more healthy...
Squats
Deadlifts
Military Presses
Bench Presses
Dips
Good Mornings
Chin Ups/Pull Ups
etc
Training legs once every 2 weeks is generally a bad idea especially when starting out....unless you're doing very high intensity sets 90-101% 1 rm squats and such...I would aim to train legs at least weekly or around that....you may even be able to hit them 2-3 times a week at lower intensity/volume...
Remember your body works in unison to do ANY exercise....so that when u're doing deadlifts or squats.....u are working the WHOLE body....some muscles are emphasized more than others...but the whole body works to lift the weight....
