ok i am thinking about changing my workout split. right now i am doing: chest-tris, rest, back-bis, shoulders-legs, rest, then back to the chest. Do you guys think that I would be better off doing: chest-tris-shoulders, rest, back-bis, rest, and then back to chest? Please any opinion or suggestions would be great! tre12

Hey tre12,
the split that has worked the best for me is:
Day 1 - Shoulders & Tri's Day 2 - Back & Bi's Day 3 - r e s t Day 4 - Chest Day 5 - Legs Day 6 - r e s t Day 7 - repeat Day 1
That's my 2 cents

Another would be shoulders & abs, legs & calves, chest & back, tricepts & bicepts and then start over.

I would more likely prefer keith's programm..I think it gives me more symetry to work out two antagonistic muscles on one day..but that doesn't have to work with you too...experimentand see what works best with you Amr

You have not mentioned legs in your new schedule....dont forget, legs r 50% of your body and without good legs you cant have a good body. Try and have more workout days at a stretch and lesser bodyparts in a day so you can consentrate on them more. But dont workout a bodypart more than twice a week.

work each body part totaly hardcore once per week, your muscles grow while your resting. any more & you'll be overtraining.
