Which workout program should I chose

I am 5’ 10” and weigh 225. I could loss 20 to 30 pounds. I have been weight training to build muscle.

Twice a week I do this exercise routine. I do a 1 HR Kempo Karate class first then U do the workout bellow. I also try to do 3 45 minute cardio workouts. I have built muscle but have not lost as much weight as I would have liked to. I am much stronger. I still have a lot of weight in the stomach are. I also do sit-up.

Which exercise program should I pick.

3 sets bench 6 to 12 reps
3 sets incline bench 6 to 12 rep
3 set reverse incline bench 6 to 12 rep

Biceps Bar bell curls 3 sets 12 reps
Triceps pushdown with rope 3 sets 12 reps

Machine row 3 sets 12 reps
Lat pull down 3 sets 12 reps
Shoulder press 3 set 12 reps

Leg extension 3 sets 12 reps
Leg curls 3 sets 12 reps
Standing calf raise 3 set 12 reps
Leg press 3 set 12 reps

Providing you eat the right foods, and train, you will not lose your lean mass.
Add on more arm work and don't forget your forearms and abs unless you do them at Karate.
Also you may want to try 12 reps-10-8-6 adding weight each time when you can. This will help you for what you want.

If the program you are doing is working, stay with it for a maximum of 8-12 weeks. If it is time for a change then try a program from here. The "weight loss and definition" program might suit you according to what you have posted here.
Good luck and keep up your dedicated work.

Is it possible to do your weights workout on a different day from the karate?
Your muscles may already be tired after karate and lead to a less effective workout.
Normally we suggest doing weights first, but in your case, I imagine this could cause problems with your karate - is it possible to do them different days?

I was thinking of breaking up the weight routine. I will do legs and abs after karate. And chest, back and arms the day after karate. I am a ski instructor on weekends. I only have mon thru friday too workout. I was thinking of

Mon Karate, then legs and abs
Tue arms, chest and back
wed Karate , then legs and abs
Thurs arms, chest and back
Friday off or cardio
Ski sat
Ski sun
Would breaking up the routine be better

Breaking it up is up to you. But I would put in a rest day, while instructing, do you get intense? If so, look at a rest day.

I don't know that there would be any great benefit doing weights workouts for each body part twice a week - you need time to rest for optimum growth.

how about:
mon - Karate then abs
tues - arms chest and back
wed - Karate
thurs - legs and abs
fri - cardio or rest (as carivan says depending on whether you get a dacent rest on your ski days)
sat - ski
sun - ski

this would allow you to give your legs workout 100% effort.

what do you think?

I did not know you only had to do a body part or group once a week. I though I had to train a group twice a week. This schedule would give me more time to do cardio after the the weight training. If i get alot of time to ski my legs get a good work out. The legs on thrus would work. I could rest them on Friday.
