I just wanted to say that I need to be hit across the head with some kind of hard metal object. Today was my first day back in the gym since High School and it felt so good I don't know why I ever stoped. I just messed around mostly so I could find out my max on diffrent machines. Tomorrow if I am not to sore I will start the normal workout. Tonight I ate baked salmon and a big glass of milk with supper. After my workout I had some whey protine and creatine then 4 hours later I had another glass of whey. According to FT I need 353 a day but I was told 300-325 would be good. After I get my income tax return I am going to GNC to buy $200 in supplements. Anyone who can suggest some good ones for bulking up I'd appriciate it. Well, off to bed with me. Another big day of working out tomorrow. Looking forward to it too.

Congrats on getting back to the gym.. feels good right?
300-325 grams daily would be fine.. ft has a 10% variance to adjust to different body-types.
In terms of your shopping cart at GNC:
Creatine Glutamine High Potency Multi-vitamin Whey Protein
also if you have extra $$$.. then pick up a calorie-rich meal replacements.. since I assume that your required daily caloric intake is most likely high having a 350+ g protein requirement.
Good Luck.. and keep us posted.

Yes, welcome back to working out! I had one week off (last week)...it felt good to get back into it again on Monday.
Instead of shopping at GNC, you may consider buying from the net. The price of your items might be:
Creatine (500 gram bottle) $15 - $30 Glutamine (500 gram bottle) $10 - $15 Multi-vitamin (40-day supply) $20 - $30 Whey Protein (4 lbs.) $25 - $55 Weight Gainer/MRP (4 lb.s) $25 - $55 ZMA (60-day supply) $20 - $30
Good luck!

Tue. I worked out pretty hard and here it is Thur. and I'm still so sore I can barly move. I figured I'd be sore for a couple days though since my body aint use to all the work. The past few days I just been taking it easy and eating lots of liver, fish, and supplements. By Monday I should be ready for more. I may just play some basketball and do really light workouts till my body gets back into shape.

Fortunately, you'll soon begin to notice that the soreness doesn't last quite as long. It's good that you have "rediscovered" working out. Keep us posted of your progress...

Well yes and no Rpacheco..... about the soreness I mean. Even thou being very much use to weight training, I often feel sore the next two days. This is not a bad thing thou. It actually shows that you keep stimulating your muscles differently which we know will turn into increased strength and size.
But it's true that the very first time's sore muscles are diferent than now......
