So I've been running my ass off and doing weights for the last week and a half and i've gained weight. I don't think it's muscle because i've only done my weight routine 3 times.
I ran a half marathon on sunday and are now training for a full marathon but am frustrated that i can gain weight with all this running.
I eat healthy and eat when i'm hungry. WHAT IS GOING ON???
I did incorporate a protein shake once this week and then have been munching on protein bars. Could they be making me retain water?? I don't know.
Your weight will fluctuate for a while when you first start out, probably your fluid balance is to blame.
Stick with training and focus on a healthy lifestyle, focus on fat loss and inches lost, as opposed to the number on the scale.
