I've been working out for about 4 months now. I do an hour of cardio each day. 30 min HIIT (I just started that sept. 1st) and 30 min of the elliptical. Before sept 1st I was doing 60 min of elliptical. I also do weight training six days per week before my cardio workouts It's not possible for me to do cardio in morning and weights in pm. Mon and Thurs is legs, tues friday is chest and arms, and wed sat is back and shoulders. I do crunches on the exercise ball on tues, wed, fri, sat. I also do reverse crunches on tues and fri.I know I'm getting great workouts, My weights are 4 sets of 15,12,10,8 reps, and I add weight to whatever I'm doing with each set. I keep track of my sets/weight on a chart that I made and I can see that my strength is definitly improving as I am able to increase my weight every week or two. My problem is that I've only lost 12 pounds and one percent body fat. What gives? My diet is great. I write down everything that I eat and the nutritional content of each item when available. I only take in about 1600 calories on average per day. I don't want to cut back my calories too much for fear of slowing down my metabolism. I eat six small meals per day, a lot of turkey and low fat things. I also take the suppliments l-carnitine, l-tyrosine, and 7-keto dhea along with calcium and a miltivitamin. I was taking relacore but quit due to the cost. I need some advice please help! Thank you.
