I put in that I want to lose weight, and it tells me to eat 4507 calories!!!
I don't even eat that much on a HUNGRY day. My average calorie intake is like 2800 a day.
Also, the 725 carbs a day seems a little insane.
I am pretty sure if I follow this advice I will gain at least 20 lbs in a few months.

Its basing it on your bmr due to your weight. If you follow an active workout schedule, your body needs that much to maintain/reduce your current body mass.
I am 6'1", 200 lbs, and if I don't eat more than 3200 calories a day I lose weight.... I eat around 3400-3500 a day to maintain and a tad more when I am trying to bulk up.
Personally I would try 3500-4000 for yourself, and make sure you follow an active workout schedule, and it should work out for you if you eat clean calories and don't cheat on your workouts.

The Calorie calculator on this site is broken. If you're trying to lose large amounts of weight, try eating around 10 calories per pound of body weight per day. That coupled with a good exercise program should yield good results for you. When you start getting lean, the multiplier could go as high as 14 or 15 depending on your lean muscle mass.
