I don't have any way of doing chin/pull ups. I do, however, have a home gym with a similar exercise. Only you stay seated and pull down on the bar above your head. This seems to me to be the same movement. Is it okay to substitute this for the "wide grip chins to front" that I have to do tomorrow?

Another question: When you guys fill in the "how many reps/how much weight" fields after you've done your workouts. What do put in for the weight value on exercises like calf raises, or sit ups, where no weights were used?

yeah, you're refering to what most people call, 'lat pull downs.' they both work your back (the lats) just about the same way, so you'll be fine doing one over the other... it's always nice to always be switching them around, but if that's all you have access to, that's fine... holla back...

Thanks pimple, I did the lat pulldowns on my machine today. Here I always thought that bar was for arm development, but it did seem to destroy my back as well.

you're welcome... yes, you can use that tower for your back (lat pulldowns) and your arms as well (various lifts for the triceps)... make sure you vary your grip for maximun results, by the way (hold the bar with your hands shoulder width aparty, closer together, palms facing in and palms facing out, etc)... enjoy...

If you dont use any weight then dont put a weight in. Definitly put the amount of reps in though, that way you can have something to track, and can tell progress by if you do more reps.

Thanks alot Tic, That's what I've been doing, but I wasn't sure how that'd work out. Does it display your reps on that graph afterwards, or no?
