I have tendonitis in my elbows. So whenever I do pull downs, I get a sharp pain there. Is there any alternative exercise that isn't as demanding on the elbows, that will still widen my back effectively?

I have tendonitis in my elbows too and have found T Bar rows with the barbell OK. I pull up with my arms and back untill I can't go any farther with the bar (read pain in elbows) then really concentrate on pulling my shoulders back. I think its working for me.

Training with tendinitis is a bad idea...I woulda take 2 weeks off....use menthol/camphor....tie a bandage around the elbows for compression...and take ibuprofen.....and fish oil(preserves muscle/helps with inflammation in tissues)....and eat right....you keep aggravating the injury....think long term...

I agree menace. The longer you train with it the worse and longer it will take to recover.
